  • R.I.P. John Corcoran, internationally renowned philosopher, and friend. John passed away at age 83 after a short illness with an infection that did not respond to aggressive treatments with antibiotics. His extended family includes students from all parts of the world. At his request, no funeral and memorial service will be conducted.
  • Pontifex University has posted information about The Master's of Education in Catholic School Administration program, geared toward current or aspiring Catholic school leaders, that it now has available.
  • The Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies announces publication of a revised edition of Etienne Gilson’s Reason and Revelation in the Middle Ages, edited by James K. Farge.
  • The much anticipated documentary film Spiritual Audacity: The Abraham Joshua Heschel Story is now available today on DVD, exclusively at Journey Films. The film is the fourth and final installment in the Prophetic Voices film series that includes profiles of Reinhold Niebuhr, Howard Thurman and Dorothy Day.
  • Our colleague Ken Bryson announces recent publication of a new book entitled: What do We Know About God?: Theological, Philosophical, and Existential Arguments Concerning the Nature of God. More information available here.
  • The Thomistic Institue is now accepting applications for its Juniors Fellow Program! Information about its other programs is also available
  • Just announced, Word on Fire Academic is the new publishing imprint for scholarly publications, the fourth imprint for Word on Fire Catholic Ministries. It's first title is Tolkien’s Modern Reading: Middle-earth Beyond the Middle Ages, by Holly Ordway.
  • The Global Journal for Research Analysis (GJRA), a double-peer-reviewed print international journal, seeks scholarly articles to publish.
  • The Institute for Catholic Theology Spring semester continues the theme The Legacy of Pope St. John Paul II. All classes live at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Pheonix. Each class is streamed live and recorded. A reduced rate is available for "bundled" courses.
