Hark! The Herald (5.0)

Apropo of the news that our Archdiocesan weekly Milwaukee Catholic Herald unveils redesigned, mobile-friendly website, I took a look back at my September 10, 2009 post on its last previous redesign, which I called Version 4.0.

This time you can compare for yourself: Version 4.0, Version 3.0, Version 2.0, and Version 1.0.

I still consider Version 2.0 the best design the Herald has used. Since the new 5.0 looks to me like what Version 2.0 might have become by now, it's a design improvement over the intervening versions.
