Evincing perspective

At Express Milwaukee, Frank Clines tells Kumbalek about a revelation he had upon seeing one of the statues of national championship coaches at the University of Notre Dame. Yes, a Devine Revelation.
"In fact, [Dan] Devine's Green Bay record wasn't THAT bad— 25-27-4, a winning percentage of .481. His successors were Bart Starr (.406 over nine seasons), Forrest Gregg (.403 over four) and Lindy Infante (.375 over four)."
Right up there with Devine's predecessor, Phil Bengston, .488 over three seasons. As Mr. Kumbalek says, "Enough painful memories!"
