Our suburban weekly's police blotter included,
"A woman was struck by a bag of garbage someone threw out the window of a brown SUV while she was walking in the 7200 block of South 27th Street about 1:15 p.m. June 1. A witness provided the license plate number of the car, and police are investigating."
