In other local news:
At least one contested race in Franklin, specifically the District 2 aldermanic race in which Curt Bolton and Daniel Mayer will run for the seat vacated by Tim Solomon. In District 1, only Greg Kowalski had filed for the seat vacated by Steve Olson. In District 5, Doug Schmidt is running for re-election. (The preceding was subject to any last-minute filings.)
No Jeff Traylor but Deb Larson and Melissa Klein Run Again for School Board, it says at Wag the Dog. (The preceding was also subject to any last-minute filings.)
