Kicking the tires

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Bishop Blase Cupich of Rapid City, South Dakota, will speak at the Milwaukee Archdiocese's annual meeting of clergy September 30, 2009. Bishop Cupich has been suggested as a possible choice as our next archbishop and this might be his taking an opportunity to look things over.

He is speaking to the Liturgists and Musicians too. However, this is old news. Why put it up now. The article you quote is from last August!

If that's not a rhetorical question, I scheduled the post to be close to the event.

This is not the man Milwaukee needs for sure. There needs to be a break from the Weakland-Sklba-Dolan hold.

Having experienced Bishop Cupich on Wednesday, I would opine that any diocese is/would be lucky to have him

Bishop Cupich would be good for our Archdiocese!
