to display so that unsuspecting SOV2 faith communicants don't accidentally get lured into their world of cathlofascism.
I pointed out the dilemma this creates, since part of not Being Church is not having banners. Or so I thought until I came across the Diocesan Planning Process Banner.
TB, I could be wrong, but I'm assuming you would be proud to be banned from a group that is not in union with the Catholic Church. Isn't it an honor of sorts to be singled out by a group located in TN?
ReplyDeleteIf you lived in Ohio and there were three other banned sites I could come up with a parody song titled:
ReplyDelete"Four Banned in O-hi-o!"
Yep, worth what you paid for it. :)
For what it's worth, the Spirit of Vatican 2 Catholic Faith Community website is one of the funniest damn things around. Farah Faucett as a nun? Too funny. Hell—I want her in charge of "relgious ed" at my parish. Sure, there'd still be no catechesis to speak of, but the view would be so much better!
ReplyDeleteFC, I'm a bit suspicious of SOV2 because of it's substantial "worship space". I'd expect a little schismatic group in Tennessee would be starting out in something more like a former Waffle House.
